According to some fantasy book reviews that I've recently read, apparently a lot of fantasy readers like maps. Who knew?
Answer: We all knew. Fantasy maps are a fun way to transport the reader into exciting new worlds.
Do you remember our fantasy philosophy? The primary attraction of fantasy stories is to give the reader the thrill of new discovery without the rigors of academia.
Every explorer needs a map. So, I decided that the new fantasy project, Stranger Back Home, would include one.
Now, it's only a map of the city of DragonsMouth, because our first story will only take place in this city. I didn't want to overwhelm readers with too much information about this strange and exciting new world.
